Deviled Lamb Chop image

1 6-ounce lamb shoulder chop
1 tablespoon cooking oil
2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
1 dash garlic salt
1 slice onion
1 1/2-inch thick green pepper ring

Steps:

  • Sprinkle chop lightly with salt and pepper.
  • In small skillet brown lamb chop on both sides in hot oil.
  • Blend water, mustard, lemon juice, thyme, and garlic salt. Spread mustard mixture over chop.
  • Top with onion slice. Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  • Spoon pan juices over meat; top with green pepper ring. Cover and simmer 15 minutes more.
