Deep South Pecan Pie image

Been making this particular pie myself for over 30 years. Never had leftovers and everyone just loves it. I'm sure we all have special dishes like this.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 9" unbaked pie shell
3 medium eggs
1 c light corn syrup
1 Tbsp melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 c pecan halves
1 c granulated sugar
1 Tbsp all purpose flour

Steps:

  • 1. Set oven to 350 degrees Beat eggs, add corn syrup, melted butter and vanilla. Blend well. Combine sugar and flour then add to egg mixture. Add pecans and pour into pie shell. Bake 40 to 50 minutes.
