Curry Bar-B-Que Sauce image

I was looking for a good recipe for a homemade bar-b-que sauce I could use on pork chops, but I couldn't find one I liked so I made my own. So far I've only used it on pork chops I cooked in the oven. It's super easy and fast. And it's tasty too! Even my 3 year-old and my husband like it.

Time 5m

Yield 3/4 cup, 4-6 serving(s)

Number Of Ingredients 7

1/2 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons dry mustard (like Colman's)
2 teaspoons curry powder
1 pinch salt
1 tablespoon vinegar (white or cider)
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 cup brown sugar (or 2 Tablespoons maple syrup)

Steps:

  • Mix ingredients together in order listed, stirring after each ingredient.
  • Brush on meat before cooking, reapply about 15 minutes before meat is done.
  • I recommend making extra sauce or reserving some aside to go with the meal.
