1/2 cup(s) butter
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
1 teaspoon(s) oregano, dried
1 can(s) cream of celery soup
16 ounce(s) sour cream
2 tablespoon(s) chives, dried
2 lb. package(s) hash brown potatoes, shredded, frozen
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 cup(s) celery, chopped
1/2 cup(s) red bell pepper, chopped
16 ounce(s) cheddar cheese, shredded
TOPPING:
3 package(s) shake n bake (extra crispy)
1/4 cup(s) butter

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix together butter, salt, pepper, oregano, soup, & sour cream; set aside.
  • Combine hash browns, onion, celery, green pepper, & cheese; add to sour cream mixture. Mix well.
  • Spoon into a greased 13 x 9 x 2" baking dish. For topping, combine shake n bake & butter; sprinkle over casserole. Bake for 45 minutes.
