Crockpot Cider Pork Stew image

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 lb pork, boneless and cubed
3 Tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp pepper
6 carrots
4 potatoes
2 onions
1 apple
2 c apple cider
1 Tbsp vinegar
1/2 c cold water
1/4 c flour

Steps:

  • 1. Cube boneless pork, slice onions and carrots, quarter potatoes and chop the apple.
  • 2. Combine 3 tablespoons flour, salt, thyme and pepper, toss with meat.
  • 3. Put carrots, potatoes, onion and apple in cooker.
  • 4. Top with meat cubes.
  • 5. Combine apple cider and vinegar, pour over meat.
  • 6. Cover, cook on low for 10-12 hours.
  • 7. Turn cooker to high and blend 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 cup cold water, blend well.
  • 8. Stir into liquid in crockpot.
  • 9. Cover, cook 15 minutes or until thickened and season to taste.
