Steps:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bacon and green onions and cook until the bacon is crisp; drain. Brown chicken well in skillet; remove.
- Layer the onion, mushroom and garlic in a crock-pot. Add the chicken, bacon mixture, salt, pepper, thyme and chicken broth.
- Cook on low for 6 hours. Add the wine in the last hour of cooking.
