Mint Julep image

Refreshing, tasty and extremely easy to make, this is the perfect cocktail to serve on a hot summer day!

Number Of Ingredients 5

8 to 10 mint leaves, plus more to garnish
1/2 oz simply syrup, or more to taste
2 oz bourbon
2 c crushed ice
1/2 oz mineral water

Steps:

  • 1. In a glass or a silver cup, add mint leaves and simple syrup. Lightly muddle to release the flavor.
  • 2. Add bourbon, stir and fill up the glass halfway with crushed ice. Stir until the glass (or cup) starts to frost from the outside.
  • 3. Add a splash of mineral water before packing up the glass with crushed ice; garnish with a mint sprig. Makes 1 drink
