Crock pot beef roast image

This is a versatile recipe that my family loves. You can either add veggies to the pot ( carrots and potatoes) and have a great meal all in one pot, or you can remove 3/4 of the broth at the end of cooking and shred the roast for delicious pulled beef sandwiches.

Number Of Ingredients 7

2-4 lb beef chuck roast
1 pkg italian dressing mix
1 pkg brown gravy mix
1 pkg ranch style dressing mix
2 can(s) beef broth, reduced sodium
1/2 pkg baby carrots
4-6 small potatoes

Steps:

  • 1. Trim excess fat off roast and place in crock pot. Add carrots and potaotes if desired.
  • 2. Mix all three dressing mixes with the beef broth and pour over the roast. Cook on low 6-8 hours or untill roas is tender and starts to fall apart.
