Crispy Onion Wings image

Number Of Ingredients 10

12 whole chicken wings, (about 2 1/2 lbs)
21/2 c crushed potato chips
1 can(s) 2.8 oz. french-fried onions, crushed
1/2 c cornmeal
2 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp onion salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 c butter, melted

Steps:

  • 1. Line a 15" baking pan with foil and grease the foil; set aside.
  • 2. Cut chicken wings into 3 sections; discard the wing tip sections.
  • 3. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the potato chips, onions, cornmeal and seasonings; mix well.
  • 4. Dip chicken wings in eggs, place in bag, a few at a time; shake to coat and press crumb mixture onto chicken
  • 5. Place wings in prepared pan; drizzle with butter. Bake uncovered at 375* for 30-35 minutes or until chicken juices run clear and coating is crisp. Yield 2 dozen.. Enjoy!
