BREADED ROUND STEAK image

1 lb. 1/4-inch thick round steaks
2 eggs
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup plus 1/2 cup parsley
2 cups bread crumbs
1 large garlic clove, crushed
1/2 cup parmesean cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
oil

Steps:

  • Slightly tenderize round steaks and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix the eggs and add water, salt and pepper to taste with 1/4 cup parsley. In a large bowl mix bread crumbs, garlic, parmesean cheese, 1 tsp. each salt and pepper. In a large saucepan cover bottom with 1/2-inch oil Heat oil and dip steaks first into egg mixture, then into breadcrumb mixture. When oil is hot enough, brown pieces on each side well, until tender.
