Steps:
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the brown sugar, corn syrup, peanut butter and butter. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes or until melted, stirring twice. Stir in cereal and peanuts. Spoon into ice cream cones.
- Melt chocolate chips and shortening; stir until smooth. Dip tops of cones in melted chocolate, then in jimmies. Let stand until set. These treats are best served the day they are made.
- Yield: 1-1/2 dozen.
