12 red chili peppers
1 small green pawpaw
1 onion, large
4 tablespoons mustard
1 -2 garlic clove, pegs
2 tablespoons salt
1 1/2 pints vinegar
1/2 teaspoon powdered saffron
1 teaspoon curry powder

Steps:

  • Boil pawpaw in skin, then cut into small pieces.
  • deseed & finely chop peppers
  • Finely chop onion & garlic.
  • Mix all solid ingredients.
  • Add vinegar & simmer mixture for approx 20 minutes.
  • Cool , bottle in sterile jars.
