Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- 2. Grease and flour an 8x8 square pan; set aside.
- 3. In a medium heavy saucepan, stir 1/2 cup butter and unsweetened chocolate over low heat just until melted. Cool for 5 minutes. Stir in sugar, eggs, and mint extract. Stir just until combined.
- 4. Stir in flour and spread batter into greased pan.
- 5. Bake for 20 minutes and cool completely in a pan.
- 6. For frosting, beat together 1/4 cup butter until fluffy, add in powdered sugar and continue to beat until incorporated, beat in creme de menthe, and milk.
- 7. Spread frosting over cooled brownies. Refrigerate until frosting is chilled and firm.
- 8. In the microwave or a small sauce pan over low heat, melt semi sweet chocolate and milk; stirring often. Drizzle chocolate over chilled brownies. Cool at room temp.
- 9. Sprinkle chopped Andes mint chocolate candies over the top.
