Creany Peas Alfredo image

This is a rich and creamy sauce to serve over your pasta, rice,chops,chicken, potatoes any style, biscuits..etc......

Number Of Ingredients 11

2 cup(s) frozen peas, steamed
6 slice(s) bacon
1 clove(s) garlic, minced
1 small onion, chopped
1 cup(s) sliced mushrooms
1 or 2 tablespoon(s) all purpose flour
1 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
1 cup(s) creme fraiche( heavy cream)
1/4 cup(s) parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- chopped parsley for garnish

Steps:

  • Chop bacon and brown with onion and garlic in a large skillet on medium heat.Add mushrooms, and stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
  • Stir in cream,flour and cheese,blend and add the peas. Cook until thickened. Remove from heat. Sprinkle with parsley. --- Great served over your favorite pasta, tortellini, rice, potato,chops, chicken, shrimp...etc...
