Creamy Summer Salad Dressing image

My family has made this for three generations and I'm teaching to the fourth. We love this on our fresh summer lettuces and cucumbers. It is the basic year-around dressing for my Empty Bowl Coleslaw. It's called that because you never have any leftover!!

Number Of Ingredients 4

1/4 cup - mayonnaise (not salad dressing)
1/2 Tbsp - sugar
1/2 Tbsp - apple cider vinegar
To taste - salt and pepper

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk. Or, even better, place in a jar with a tight lid and shake!
  • Taste.
  • Uses: Coleslaw dressing; fresh lettuce and onion salad or even a cucumber onion salad
  • **Great addition is garlic!! Replace the salt with garlic salt or add chopped garlic. Great on a BLT salad with garlic croutons!
