Creamy Horseradish Sauce image

This is my go to recipe and it's perfect with roasts, steak, baked potatoes, as a sandwich spread etc. You'll never buy bottled again! This recipe serves a crowd, so adjust it down for a smaller group. Adjust the horseradish to your own taste. The amount in this recipe makes a hotter sauce.

6 oz prepared horseradish (adjust more or less to taste)
2 Tbsp confectioners' sugar
1 pinch kosher salt
1 c heavy cream, cold
1 c sour cream
1 c plain bread crumbs
2 Tbsp cider vinegar

Steps:

  • 1. Combine horseradish, sugar and salt. Stir in breadcrumbs. Pour in cream and whisk until well combined. Whisk in sour cream. Refrigerate until cold, approximately one hour.
  • 2. Whisk in vinegar just prior to serving.
