Creamy Chicken Pesto Pasta image

Pesto sauce is on of my favorite flavors so I came up with this recipe to use some leftover chicken and pesto I had in the fridge. Turned out great, will definitely be cooking this alot.

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 chicken breast fillets
2 c bow tie pasta
chicken grilled seasoning rub
salt and pepper
1/2 c pesto sauce in jar
1/3 c chopped sun dried tomatoes in oil
1/3 c heavy cream
1- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp butter
pecorino romano cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Salt and pepper chicken, rub with grill seasoning, grill or sear in skillet with olive oil. Cook pasta according to package. Drain. When chicken is done, chop into small bite size pieces. In a large skillet add all ingredients together, on medium heat stir until cream cheese and butter is melted and all is combined well. Top with grated pecorino romano cheese.
