Creamed Spinach image

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon sugar
1 envelope Butter Buds, or 1 tablespoon Butter Buds Sprinkles
1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk (skim)
2 (10-ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach, excess water squeezed out
1/3 cup grated fat-free Parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • In a large nonstick skillet, dissolve cornstarch, sugar, and Butter Buds in milk. Turn heat to medium. Add spinach; stir constantly and bring to a boil. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Reduce heat to low; cover; let simmer 10 minutes.
