Cream Cheese Crescent Bars image

I haven't made this yet but it sounds very good.

Number Of Ingredients 9

2 - 8-oz tubes crescent rolls
2 - 8-oz pkgs.cream cheese
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
2/3 cup(s) sugar
1 - egg separated
CINNAMON TOPPING
1/2 cup(s) sugar
1/4 cup(s) chopped pecans or walnuts
1 teaspoon(s) cinnamon

Steps:

  • Line the bottom of a greased 13x9 baking pan with one pkgs.crescent rolls,pinching seams together,set aside.Blend together cream cheese,vanilla,sugar and egg yolk;spread evenly over crust.Gently place remaining crescent roll dough on top,pinching together seams.In bowl,whisk egg white until frothy;brush over dough.Sprinkle with cinnamon topping bake at 350 degress until golden.about 25-30 mins. Cool and slice into bars or triangles.
