Cream Cheese Chicken image

Super simple Sunday dinner at my house. Can be served by itself or over pasta.

6 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1/2 c butter
2 pkg italian dressing mix
16 oz cream cheese
water, as needed

Steps:

  • 1. Pour about 1/2 inch of water in crock-pot, then add the butter and chicken breast.
  • 2. Sprinkle chicken breast with dry Italian dressing mix.
  • 3. Cook on high about 6 hours.
  • 4. Add cream cheese 30 minutes before serving.(to allow it to melt) Make sure to stir well.
