Crazy Chocolate Cake image

Number Of Ingredients 10

4 tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup boiling water

Steps:

  • Grease and flour 8 inch square cake pan.
  • Put all ingredients except 1/2 cup boiling water in a large bowl.
  • Pour 1/2 cup of boiling water over above ingredients and beat about 2 minutes with electric mixer.
  • Pour into baking pan.
  • Spread evenly.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
