CRANBERRY SWIRL CAKE image

Yield 1 cake

Number Of Ingredients 11

1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sour cream (or yogurt)
2 cups flour
1 8oz can whole cranberry sauce
Glaze: 3/4 cup powdered sugar,
2 talbespoon water and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract, mix & sprinkle Chopped nuts on top

Steps:

  • Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time. Add rest of ingredients except cranberry sauce. Mix till blended. Pour 1/2 of cake into greased & floured bundt pan. Spread 1/2 can cranberry sauce over batter. Pour rest of cake batter on top & spread remaining cranberry sauce on top. Bake at 350 for 50 - 60 minutes. Mix glaze & drizzle over cake, sprinkle with chopped nuts and ENJOY!
