CRANBERRY PEAR CRISP image

Number Of Ingredients 9

4 firm ripe peeled and sliced pears
12 oz cranberries
1/3 C sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
topping: 1/4 t. cinnamon
2/3 C firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 C butter - cut into 1/2" pieces
1/2 C all-purpose flour
pinch of salt

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 Toss pears, cranberries, sugar and 1/4 t cinnamon until blended. Put in 10 inch round baking dish Combine topping ingredients in large bowl and blend with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse meal. Sprinkle over fruit and pat down lightly. Bake until tender (45 min) and topping is golder. Serve with ice cream
