CRANBERRY - PEAR CHUTNEY image

Number Of Ingredients 6

4 c fresh cranberries
1 1/2 c brown sugar
2 Bosc or Asian pears, peeled & diced small (2 cups)
1 jalapeno, seeded & minced
1 c golden raisins
2 T lime juice

Steps:

  • Heat cranberries, brown sugar and 2 c of water over medium high heat to boiling. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries start to pop, about 10 minutes. Add pears, jalapeno, raisins and lime juice and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool. Cover & refrigerate up to 2 days ahead.
