Cranberry Chutney image

Cranberries are great for the holidays or any kind of day.

Number Of Ingredients 8

4 can(s) (16oz each) whole cranberry sauce
1 cup(s) olives, pitted
1 cup(s) currants
1 cup(s) slivered almonds
2 tablespoon(s) chopped candied ginger
1 teaspoon(s) allspice, ground
1 cup(s) packed brown sugar
1 cup(s) cider vinegar

Steps:

  • In a stainless steel saucepan, combine the ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Then simmer uncovered for 30 minutes or until thickened, stirring constantly.
  • Pack chutney in clean jars to within 1/2 inch of the top and cap. Process in a hot water bath for 5 minutes.
