Crab with Sherry in Shells image

An extremely easy and elegant way to serve crab. I put it into Scallop Shells I bought at a cooking store, but you can use ramekins also. Delicious and rich. I found this 35 years ago in Yankee Magazine!

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 c fresh crabmeat
2 hardooked eggs- chopped
1 c mayonnaise
1 tsp grated onion
1 tsp chopped parsley
1 c buttered breadcrumbs
2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp dry mustard
3 Tbsp sherry

Steps:

  • 1. Mix all the ingredients, reserving a half cup of the buttered breadcrumbs. Spoon mixture into scallop shells or ramekins and top with the remaining crumbs
  • 2. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 15 minutes
