I believe this came from my grandmother. Left overs are great! The more beef the less sloppy the sloppy joe. 1 - 15 oz can of tomato sauce can be substituted for the tomato soup. Add a squirt of ketchup instead of brown sugar for a tangy flavor. Goes great with dill pickles.

Steps:
- 1. In electric or large stove top skillet on high heat, brown ground beef with salt, pepper, onion and green bell pepper until thoroughly cooked. Drain grease.
- 2. Add tomato soup and pork and beans (without any fat chunks that are usually on top). Stir.
- 3. Add brown sugar and sitre.
- 4. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Serve on hamburger buns.
