CORNFLAKE POTATO CASSEROLE image

1 (30 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup or cream of chicken soup
1 onion, chopped (optional)
1 cup butter
3 cups crushed corn flakes

Steps:

  • Sauté the onion and some butter and add set aside. Mix all ingredients together except the cornflakes and butter. Melt butter and pour over crushed cornflakes and then top it on the rest of the mixture. Bake for 30 minutes on 350
