CORN BEEF BRISKET BOILED image

1 1/2 lb. corned beef brisket
3 potatoes
3 carrots, julienne
1 small head of cabbage, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 onions, chopped

Steps:

  • Peel and quarter potatoes. Juieen carrots and chop cabbage, celery and onion. Cover the corned beef brisket, with water and cook slowly for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender. May use a crock pot on high. Remove the meat and cook vegetables for 20-30 min., (cut into large segments) in the same water, removing the scum. Serve the meat on a platter with vegetables.
