Coconut Cream Cheese Frosting image

This is a delicious frosting on pineapple cakes, carrot cakes, white cakes, cupcakes, etc.

Number Of Ingredients 8

1 package(s) (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup(s) butter, unsalted
4 cup(s) powdered sugar, sifted
3 tablespoon(s) heavy cream
1 teaspoon(s) coconut extract
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
1-1/2 cup(s) shredded coconut, toasted

Steps:

  • Cream butter and cream cheese until fluffy and add cream. Add sugar slowly and add the other ingredients, except toasted coconut.
  • When done, put frosting on cake and top with toasted coconut.
