This is a classic Italian pasta dish. I got the recipe years ago from my friends mom, who was originally from Italy, so you know it's the real deal. Serve w/ homemade garlic bread and a glass of chianti, and you'll feel like you are in italy.

Steps:
- Cook pasta as directed, reserving 1/4 cup cooking water, drain. Heat oil in lg skillet over med-high heat. Add onion and saute for 5 mins.
- Add garlic, salami and red pepper flakes, saute 7 mins or until fragrant. Add tomatoes w/ their juice, tomato paste, brown sugar, and vinegar.
- Stir well. Reduce heat to medium, simmer for 15 mins. Season w/ salt & pepper. Transfer pasta to lg serving bowl, spoon sauce over pasta, toss to coat. Sprinkle w/ bail and parmesan cheese.
