CITRUS GLAZED CARROTS image

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 1/2 lbs carrots, cut on the angle 1/4" sticks
2 C water
1/2 C sugar
1/4 C fresh orange juice
1/4 C fresh lime juice
2 1/2 tsp orange zest
2 tsp lime zest
2 tbls butter, unsalted
1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1/4 C chopped parsely

Steps:

  • Put all ingredients, except parsely, in a medium saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Remove carrots from liquid and reduce liquid until syrupy. Add carrots back in. Boil until most of the liquid is gone. Garnish with parsely.
