This lovely, light pear dessert is simple, yet so refined. Baked in a little butter and brown sugar the pears alone are delish. Then they're topped with a dollop of a cinnamon mascarpone cheese mixture that's smooth and creamy. When done you could sprinkle these with a little more cinnamon and chopped nuts if you'd like.

Steps:
- 1. Preheat oven to 375. Halve pears lengthwise and core.
- 2. Place cored side up in a medium baking dish. Spoon 1/2 tsp brown sugar and 1/2 tsp butter into each cavity.
- 3. Pour the juice into the baking dish.
- 4. Bake for 25 minutes or until pears are tender.
- 5. In a bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, and cinnamon.
- 6. Top each pear half with 1 1/2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture and serve warm.
