- 1. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs. Whisk in milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- 2. Have oven heated to 200 degreed Fahrenheit. Heat butter in heavy skillet over medium-low heat. Dip four slices of bread in egg mixture, coat thoroughly.
- 3. Place in hot skillet. Cook until both sides are brown. Keep warm in the oven.
