CHOCOLATE TART image

1 1/2 cups flour
3/4 c cold butter in pieces
1/4 c sugar
2 egg yolks
1/2 tsp vanilla
4 oz semi-sweet chocolate
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 c milk
1/4 c sugar
1 whole egg
1 egg yolk
3 oz chocolate (bittersweet)
1/4 c heavy cream

Steps:

  • Make pastry in food processor. Cool. roll out into tart pan. Chill 30 min. Bake 375 with beans for 15 mins. Remove beans. Reduce temp to 325. Heat cream and milk. Pour over chocolate to melt. Add sugar, eggs. Strin ino tart shell. Bake 20-30 mins. Cool completely. Make glaze and pour over top. Let set at room temp for 1 hour before serving.
