CHOCOLATE RICOTTA PIE (KIRSTEN DIXON) image

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 egg yolks
2/3 cup sugar
zest of 1 lemon
4 cups (2lbs) ricotta cheese
2 oz. semisweet chocolate, chopped
Pastry for 8 inch single cust mealy pie shell (we use pillsbury)

Steps:

  • Preheat the over to 350 Beat the egg yolks wit the sugar until creamy. Ass the lemon peel. Beat in the ricotta and chocolate pieces. Put pastry into an 8-inch pie pan, fluting the edges of the dough. Pous the ricotta mix into the pie shell. Bake on the center rack of the over for 1 hour or until the pie is set and the top is golden brown.
