Chocolate Cookies image

This simple recipe almost tastes like brownies. The kids will love them.

Number Of Ingredients 9

1/4 c shortening
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 c cocoa
3/4 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 c butter

Steps:

  • 1. Cream shortening and sugar together.Add vanilla and eggs.Mix dry ingredients together and add to mixture.Drop by large spoonfuls on cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 350.
