Chocolate Cobbler image

Yummy!!!! You'd better make 2!!

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 cup(s) self rising flour
3/4 cup(s) sugar
2 tablespoon(s) cocoa
1/2 cup(s) milk
1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
2 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
3/4 cup(s) brown sugar
1/4 cup(s) cocoa
1 3/4 cup(s) hot tap water
1 cup(s) chopped pecans (optional)

Steps:

  • In a bowl, combine the flour, sugar and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Stir in milk,oil & vanilla until smooth. Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. Combine the brown sugar and remaining cocoa; sprinkle over batter. Slowly pour hot water over top (do not stir). Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until top of cake springs back when lightly touched. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
