Steps:
- 1. In a 9 x 13 baking pan melt the 2 sticks butter
- 2. mix in large bowl < 1 1/2 cups sugar and the 1 1/2 cups self-rising flour , 2 Tblsp. vanilla an the 3/4 cup milk , mix well. pour over the butter.
- 3. mix in small bowl : 1 cup sugar and 4 or 5 Tbsp. (less or more to taste) cocoa powder < sprinkle over the batter > DO NOT STIR >
- 4. 2 cups hot water (POUR OVER TOP OF COCOA MIXTURE, DO NOT STIR >
- 5. bAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR ABOUT 35 TO 40 MINUTES TILL GOLDEN BROWN>
