Chilli Tomato Sauce / Tomato Salsa image

Simple to make and not too many ingredience. Can be used as main meal with spagetti or pasta or just use as a dip

1 medium chopped onion
800 g chopped plum tomatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 crushed garlic cloves
1 teaspoon tomato puree
1 large red chili pepper

Steps:

  • Heat the olive oil, add the onions cook until tender.
  • Add the red chilli.
  • Add the garlic and tomato puree.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes.
  • Cook for approx 5 minutes.
