CHILI-SAUSAGE SUPPER image

This recipe is a "hurry-up" main dish. When you are short on time, try this recipe.

Number Of Ingredients 10

1 lb bulk pork sausage
1 c finely chopped onion
1 c chopped green pepper
1 pkg (7-8 oz.) wide egg noodles
1 can(s) 16 oz. tomatoes
1 c sour cream
3/4 c water
1 Tbsp sugar
2-3 tsp salt
1-2 tsp chili powder

Steps:

  • 1. In a large skillet, cook and stir meat, onion and green pepper until meat is brown and onion is tender; then drain off fat. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • 2. Cover; simmer 30 minutes or until noodles are tender, adding more water if necessary to prevent sticking.
