CHILI SALSA BURGERS image

Number Of Ingredients 10

2 eggs
1/4 cup water
1 cup shredded extra old cheddar cheese
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 onion, finely grated
4 tsp chili powder
3/4 tsp s&p
2 lb lean ground beef
8 buns
1 cup thick salsa

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat eggs with water; stif in cheese, bread crumbs, onion, chili powder, s&p. Add beef; mix just until combined. Shape into eight 3/4" thick patties. Place on greased grill over medium heat; close lid and grill, turning once, until no longer pink inside and digital thermometer inserted sideways into centre reads 160F, about 15 mins. Place each burger on bun and top with salsa.
