Here's what you need: ground beef, medium onion, green bell pepper, garlic, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, kidney bean, black beans, sour cream, cheddar cheese

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 cups tomato sauce
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
2 teaspoons paprika
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, optional
16 oz kidney bean, 1 can
12 oz black beans, 1 can
sour cream, for serving
cheddar cheese, for serving

Steps:

  • In a heavy bottom pot, brown the ground beef with the onions, pepper, and garlic on medium heat.
  • Add the sauce and spices and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the beans and simmer, covered, for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Serve warm with sour cream and cheddar cheese.
  • Enjoy!
