CHICKEN WITH BEANS AND SAUSAGE image

Yield 10-12

Number Of Ingredients 13

2 Tblspoons butter
2 Tbls oil
24 serving pieces chicken
salt, pepper
6 links hot sausage
6 links sweet sausage
4 20 0z white kidney beans-- rinsed and drained
1 6oz can tomatoe paste
2 cup chicken broth
3 cloves garlic--pressed
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp sugar

Steps:

  • 1. Heat butter and oil and brown chicken. 2. Cut links into 3/4" segments and cook in remaining fat til crisp. 3. Discard all but 4 Tbls fat 4. Arrange alternate layers chicken and sausage and beans. Blend last 7 seven ingredients and pour over casserole and bake covered 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs.
