Chicken Potato Bake image

I found this recipe in my recipe box,it was clipped from Taste of Home magazine,submitted by Myrtle Nelson.It sounds yummy!Alot of flavors in both the chicken and potatoes. I haven't tried this recipe yet,will be soon.

1 c dry bread crumbs
1/2 c all purpose flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp rubbed sage
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp garlic powder
3 1/2 to 4 pounds chicken pieces,skin removed
3 Tbsp vegatable oil
potatoes:
1 tsp vegatable oil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dried parsley flaked
1/2 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp peppercorns
4 medium red potatoes,cut into 1-inch cubes

Steps:

  • 1. In a shallow bowl,combine the first 13 ingredients. Dip chicken in oil;coat with crumb mixture.Place on greased 15-in.x10-in. baking pan.
  • 2. For potatoes;combine oil,salt,parsley,paprika,garlic powder and pepper in a bowl.Add potatoes;stir until coated.Place around chicken.Bake,uncovered at 350 for an hour or until potaotes are tender and the chcken juices run clear.
