Steps:
- 1. Heat oven to 350° F. 2. In skillet, brown chicken in oil. Remove chicken from skillet. Pour off excess fat add almonds, green pepper, onion, water, and garlic. Simmer, covered, over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add remainder of ingredients. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and cook an additional 50 to 60 minutes in oven.
