Chicken Noodle Stroganoff image

I had some leftover chicken and crumbled bacon from another recipe, so I am making up a new recipe. I am confident that I can execute this dish, and it will be delicious! This is my skillet version. I wanted to make a stroganoff using chicken.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 can(s) 14oz cream of mushroom soup
1 medium yellow onion, chopped
1- 1/2 lb leftover chicken. shredded or chopped
1 c sour cream
16 oz pkg. egg noodles
1 pkg mushrooms
2 clove garlic. diced

Steps:

  • 1. Cook pasta until al'dente'. Drain pasta.
  • 2. Heat oil on med/high heat. Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms. Saute' until onion is translucent and fragrant.
  • 3. Reduce heat.Add in cream of Mushroom and sour cream to Skillet mixture. If it's too thick, add a little water or broth.Stir to combined.
  • 4. Bring back up heat. Add in chicken and pasta. Mix thoroughly .
  • 5. I topped with real cooked bacon crumbles. Happy Dinner!
