Chicken Braid image

very easy, I make this for church picnics because it is so easy to make more than enough filling for 4 braids if needed.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 tubes of cresent rolls
3/4 c cooked, chicken (cubed)
1/2 c chopped broccoli
1/4 c chopped, water chestnuts
2/3 c cream of chicken soup
2 Tbsp chopped onion
1/2 c sweet red pepper
4 oz shredded co-jack cheese

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350* Mix all ingredients together.
  • 2. For each can of cresent rolls so that you have two braids, Lay cresent rolls out on work surface overlapping short ends with points pointing out will look like a spine when laid out spoon filling down middle of dough. Bring points over across filling and tuck points under the braid. There will be gaps.
  • 3. Place on cookie sheet, sprayed with not stick spray. Can be prepared directly on the cookie sheet.
  • 4. Place in oven and bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown
