CHICKEN ALA ORANGE image

Number Of Ingredients 10

3 Pounds Frying Chicken, Cut up
2 Tablespoons marjarine or butter
1 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon pepper
3 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Tablespoon cornstarch
1/8 Teaaspoon ginger if desired
3 Large Carrots, scraped and cut into 2 1/2x1/4 inch strips
2/3 Cup Orange Marmalade
1 Tablespoon lemon juice

Steps:

  • In large skillet, brown chicken in marjarine. Season with salt and pepper. Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. reduce heat and simmer covered, 15-35 minutes or until chicken and carrots are tender
