Chex Bananas Foster Crunch Mix image

Number Of Ingredients 9

3 cup(s) honey nut chex cereal
3 cup(s) cinnamon chex cereal
2 cup(s) pecans, in pieces
1 1/2 cup(s) dried banana chips
1/3 cup(s) brown sugar, firmly packed
1/3 cup(s) butter
1/2 teaspoon(s) cinnamon, ground
1/2 teaspoon(s) banana extract
1/2 teaspoon(s) rum extract

Steps:

  • In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, pecans & banana chips.
  • In 2 C microwavable measuring cup, microwave brown sugar, butter & cinnamon uncovered on High about 1 1/2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until melted & smooth. Stir in extracts. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.
  • Microwave uncovered on High 3 minutes, stirring after each minute. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool; break into bite size pieces. Store in airtight container.
